If you're following the N
BA 2009 playoffs at all, you would know that the
Boston Celtics are currently locked 2-2 against the Orlando Magic. The
Celtics are trying to go back-to-back when it comes to championship, as they won the title last year. The remarkable effort this year is that they're doing it without
Kevin Garnett or
Leon Powe - both who play the position of power forward. They squeezed past the
Chicago Bulls 4-3 in an entertaining series that included 4 games going into 7 overtime periods. The highlight of the series would have to be
Joakim Noah (of the Bulls) stealing the ball from Paul Pierce, and then out running him down the court to make a dunk. While this was done by an opposing team, it was very entertaining, and I have to give credit where credit is due.
Joakim has the motivation and skills to be very entertaining to watch, and he is truly an asset to what ever team he plays for.
I hope the Celtics can overpower the
Magic in the current series, and I understand that whoever wins will find an even tougher opponent in the
Cleveland Cavaliers headed up by
Lebron James.
GO CELTICS!
